Video Editing
Afterthoughts Video can edit video supplied by our customers or filmed by us, or a combination of both. We use top of the line Mac computers with Apple's Final Cut Pro Studio software, with additional special effects and titles from Boris. We can color correct video if needed during editing. DVD Authoring
Afterthoughts Video can create DVDs premiering your movies and dynamic photo slideshows on professional-quality DVDs with sophisticated animated menus, lively buttons, scene transitions and more. Video Format Conversion
Afterthoughts Video can take nearly any video source and transfer to nearly any other. Most people take advantage of transferring old film or old video tapes to digital and saving onto dvd. Many older films and video tapes have already lost must of their quality and get more brittle every day. Save your memories while you can. We can color correct videos that have lost some color - to an extent - during our editing.
Photo Montages
We can take still photos and create a fun to watch video photo montage from them, animating the photos and adding fun and lively music. Many people can use these as a life history, telling the story of their lives, places they've been, things they've done in pictures. Not your boring slideshow, but moving, dynamic and flowing.
Life Histories
Basically a photo montage - a dynamic fun to watch slideshow. A Life History takes photos and any possible videos and mixes it up with music from the person's lifetime. Some customers opt to have major headlines and world news clips added, to show what was happening during a person's life. See our Life Histories page for more info.
Photo Restoration
Do you have old photos that have scratches, are torn, or have faded? We are experts in photo restoration and reconstruction. We can even take people out of photos in some cases.
Scanning
We can scan old photos for color correction, restoration, enlarging and re-printing and/or to save onto DVD for future use.
Event Planning
Afterthoughts Video has an excellent wedding and event planner to recommend, should you need one. We recommend any wedding or large event should have one. There are so many details to remember, that are so easy to forget. Afterthoughts Video can supply nearly anything you need to show your presentation at your event. DVD player, laptop, projector, screen and more. In addition to presentation rentals, we have an excellent equipment rental supplier to refer should you need anything else such as linens, chairs, tables, dishes, silverway, glassware, tents, decorations and more.
